چکیده

The Smart Surface1project aims at designing an integrated micro-manipulator based on an array of micromodules connected with a 2D array topology network. Each micromodule comprises a sensor, an actuator and a processing unit. One of the aims of the processing unit is to differentiate the shape of the part that is put on top of the Smart Surface. From a set of shapes this differentiation is done through a distributed algorithm that we call a criterion. The article presents Sensor Network Calibrator (SNC), a calibrator which allows to parametrize the Smart Surface and to determine the necessary number of sensors required by our Smart Surface. The tests will show that SNC is of great importance for choosing the number of sensors, and therefore to determine the size of the sensors grid. ANFIS Approach for Tracking Control of MEMS Triaxial Gyroscope

In this paper, an Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) based control is proposed for the tracking of a Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) gyroscope sensor. The ANFIS is used to train parameters of the controller for tracking a desired trajectory. Numerical simulations for a MEMS gyroscope are looked into to check the effectiveness of the ANFIS control scheme. It proves that the sy...

Modeling of capacitance and sensitivity of a MEMS pressure sensor

In this paper modeling of capacitance and sensitivity for MEMS capacitive pressure sensor is presented. In capacitive sensor the sensitivity is proportional to deflection and capacitance changes versus pressure. Therefore first the diaphragm displacement, capacitance and sensitivity of sensor with square diaphragm have been modeled and then simulated using finite element method (FEM).  It can b...

Accurate Model of Capacitance for MEMS Sensors using Corrugated Diaphragm with Residual Stress

In this paper we present a new model for calculating the capacitance of MEMS sensor with corrugated diaphragm. In this work the effect of residual stress is considered on deflection of diaphragm and capacitance of sensor. First, a new analytical analyzes have been carried out to derive mathematic expressions for central deflection of corrugated diaphragm and its relationship with residual stres...

Magnetic Calibration of Three-Axis Strapdown Magnetometers for Applications in Mems Attitude-Heading Reference Systems

In a strapdown magnetic compass, heading angle is estimated using the Earth's magnetic field measured by Three-Axis Magnetometers (TAM). However, due to several inevitable errors in the magnetic system, such as sensitivity errors, non-orthogonal and misalignment errors, hard iron and soft iron errors, measurement noises and local magnetic fields, there are large error between the magnetometers'...
